Pitch

Pitch

About a year and a half ago, we met you here and announced that we aim to bring about a significant change in the investment marketplace by creating the opportunity for entrepreneurs to raise funds in a simple and friendly way, and open the door to investing in startups for everyone.

Our vision then was:

  • Provide entrepreneurs with a real and fair opportunity to raise the capital  required for building a successful company
  • Provide everyone with the opportunity to invest in Israeli ventures and startups by becoming shareholders

And so we did.

ExitValley was the first platform in the market, successfully changing the fund raising landscape in Israel. For the very first time we created a new source of unlimited capital for entrepreneurs - The everyday investor. ExitValley now provides access to investment opportunities for every home in Israel, with an ever growing community having already invested in start-ups through our platform.

What we have done so far

In a year and a half of activity:

  • Over 20 million NIS raised for Israeli start-ups through our platform
  • Established a rapidly growing community of over 8,000 investors
  • Successfully funded 14 campaigns and  doing great things
  • Fund raising success rate is the highest in the market, approximately 80% of Campaigns
  • Consistent  growth every quarter in the number of campaigns  launched on ExitValley
  • ExitValley was a key contributor to the think-tank that brought about legislation change and new ISA (Israel Securities Authority) regulation  that opened the Israeli market to crowd investing
  • The ExitValley brand is now recognized amongst entrepreneurs as a market leader, making it the fastest growing crowd-investing platform in Israel - and we're just getting started!

ExitValley has enjoyed significant media attention both in Israel and abroad

Our expertise attracting the attention of high profile international organizations across the industry

What are we going to do

ExitValley will continue leading the field of Crowdinvesting in the Israeli market, making it possible for Israeli companies to raise significant levels of capital with a view to creating value for investors. To this end, we focus on three key strategies:

  • Enhance our competitive advantage by maintaining our status as Israel’s leading crowd investing platform.
  • Global expansion- Provide the international investment community with access to the very best early stage opportunities the “Start-up Nation” has to offer.
  • Launch a new Secondary Market arena on the ExitValley platform

Retaining our status as the leading Crowdinvesting platform in Israel

Let us explain:

  • For the first time, an exciting change in legislation has seen the ISA (Israel Securities Authority), announce new regulations that now allow Crowdinvesting platforms in Israel to operate on a far larger scale. This will allow ExitValley to emulate the success of  in other countries like the UK & USA, where Crowdinvesting is now widely recognized as a key function and rapidly growing feature of the investment marketplace.
  • There are tens of thousands of start-ups and businesses in Israel that can be financed through ExitValley.
  • The Start-Up Nation produces some 5,000 start-ups each year.
  • Our team consists of experts in the fields of investments, fund raising, offerings, law and technology and of course Startups. Together we have created the No.1 platform and product available in the market.
  • To date, ExitValley is the only full service platform that delivers a complete solution:
  1. Online investments
  2.  Shareholder voting system
  3. Investor updates system for the entrepreneur
  4. Secondary Market- For new and existing investors to buy or sell shares

Global expansion - UK

We set up ExitValley with a clear intention of going global by developing generic platform that will allow us to scale effectively. Alongside the expansion of our activity in Israel, we are currently finalizing the development of our UK platform – Making ExitValley UK the first Israeli Crowdinvesting platform to operate outside of Israel.

Why?

ExitValley is currently focused on an investment round of up to $ 500,000. Our UK platform will enable companies that have previously raised funds through ExitValley as well as other new company campaigns to raise Seed to Round A capital investment from an unlimited number of investors.

What we've done:

  • Studied the market in depth
  • Built a recruitment process for Israeli companies
  • Enhanced our existing platform
  • Created an operational structure that enables us to function according to local regulations
  • Developed a marketing strategy with one of the leading companies in the market
  • Built a significant network of investors and institutional bodies
  • Recruited our first international employee outside of Israel – Managing ExitValley UK
  • Established Exit Valley UK Ltd

What we're doing:

  • June 2017 - Submission of regulation documents
  • August 2017 - Confirmation of documents + required adjustments
  • September 2017 - Soft launch of first UK campaigns
  • January 3, 2018 - ExitValley UK goes' live

Launching Secondary Market arena on the ExitValley platform

The current average time for exiting an investment deal is 7 years. ExitValley has been able to understand that access to liquidity provides a significant advantage for investors. In recent months, we have developed a system of specializations for a secondary market, creating a portal for potential investors and existing shareholders. The Secondary Market will enable shareholders to potentially realize the value of their investments at the time and price of their choosing, should another investor wish to purchase their holding. In today's marketplace, very few Crowdinvesting platforms offer such a solution.

Launch of ExitValley's Secondary Market will:

  • Create growth in the number of investors
  • Generate value for investors
  • Allow many private companies to register for trading

Our Business Model

ExitValley has several current and future revenue sources:

  • Commission fees  on every successful fund raising campaign
  • Campaign setup fee
  • Secondary Market commissions
  • Additional fiduciary & administration services for start-ups
